On Thanksgiving Monday, we went with Dan, Marilyn and Brendan 4X4ing to the McBride lookout to see incredible views of the valley! Joel and I, along with Marilyn, Brendan and Thatcher rode in the back of the truck as Dan drove us up the mountain. It was so fun and the view was amazing! Even just watching all the beautiful Canadian scenery was amazing! I actually started to get a bit "misty-eyed" over not seeing the beauty of Canada again for two years when we go to Ireland. I'm sure it was just the wind that made my eyes water though :) It was a blast to travel that way and enjoy the sunshine and definately much more comfortable that hiking all that way...oh and incredibly safe Mom!! Uh, yeah...all of us were wearing seatbelts too...and um...Dan was driving REALLY slowly...and uh...I'm moving to Ireland where they drive on the opposite side of the road...so...oh, nevermind :) (*Love you Mom!)
