Last Saturday, Joel and I packed up all of our [remaining] wordly possessions into Rubbermaid bins and moved them to the garage of very kind friends who have agreed to store them for us. It was a crazy day... not at all the peaceful picture above. In fact, this picture was taken the night before. There are no pictures of the actual "moving day" because really... who had time to whip out a camera??? And frankly, who would want pictures of Christine in her p.j.s packing, sorting, and tossing various items?? Thankfully, our very good and wonderful friend Francis (aka "St. Francis") was there to pack our kitchen and breakables for us. She is amazing! THANK YOU SO MUCH FRANCIS :) I cannot tell you how awesome it was to have her there, not only to help with the packing, but to help in maintaining my sanity throughout the whole process. Anyway, our "household items" are now in 29 rubbermaid bins and waiting to be shipped to Ireland. Shipping has to wait until we are officially in the country with some sort of status. THANK YOU JOHN & JENNIFER for storing all of it for us :) After the packing/moving chaos, we then set off for Smithers at about 6:30pm. (*We were supposed to be IN Smithers at 7pm...ahhh, the ever-changing plans of full-time support raising). Next picture....
