Here we are ... the CW team in Douglas, Cork. We just took this photo a few days ago. If you follow us on "facebook" you probably saw that our laptop is "broken" and that is why I haven't updated the blog before now ... I usually upload and edit our pictures on the laptop. Lee sent me a copy of this photo via e-mail, so that is why I am able to post it here.

Update:
Things are going well. We are trying to get organized for the Autumn. We would like to start a midweek children's club (as some of you probably heard about while we were in Canada). We have ordered some resources from "christianbook.com" and we are excited about beginning to make plans for this ministry while we wait for the materials to be shipped to us. There seems to be a fair bit of excitement in the church about this ministry possibility, and Joel & I are looking forward to working on it while finding others in the church with a similar passion for this opportunity to reach out to the Douglas community.

Please pray:
- that things will come together (location, times, materials, etc.)
- that volunteers would be available & excited
- that we will come up with a great "club" that children (& their parents) can come to and get to know, trust, and follow Jesus!

Emma's Entertainments:
- she continues to SAY "Gahldi Gahldi" and SPEAK "Emma-ese" ... often!
- she is RUNNING, EVERYWHERE, ALL THE TIME :0)
- she LOVES her new baby cousin Jonothan (pictured in the photo above), and he is the only one she consistently gives kisses to!
- she FOLLOWS her cousins around (Nathan and Abigail also pictured above), and has many of her own "followers" on Sunday after the service is over ... (she runs around the room with other children following behind, or she chases after them)
- she is becoming an AVID READER, and can often be found in her chair in her room "reading" a story book from the basket beside her chair, or she will often 'read' in her cot during "nap time"
