Autumn Blessings ...

At the beginning of October, we travelled to Belfast.

The reason we went to Belfast was because Joel was going to the Boston Bruins vs. Belfast Giants ice hockey game with our friend Johno. This was part of his 35th birthday gift from Emma and I. Emma and I ended up coming along (not to the game, but to Belfast) and we had a great time together with Johno and his friends and then on our own.

We are continuing to have youth club every Saturday night in our home ... its been a blessing to see so many teenagers coming out ... how do we fit them all in? We have very light and very movable furniture! PTL!

Last Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, I travelled to London with my friends Jenny (left) and Sharon (right). We went to see the show "Les Miserables" (my belated 35th birthday gift from Joel and Emma). I had a ball with these two! They were very good to me and we walked and walked and walked all three days! It was the first time I had been away from Emma, but she had a great time with Daddy all to herself ... she did say she missed me though :0) Now, we are into the full swing of the "holiday season". The calendar for November and December is rapidly filling up and will be busy, but we are excited about the opportunities to share Jesus with our neighbours and with others in the Douglas community who don't know Him ... yet!
