We hosted our "Home Group" Christmas party on the 15th of December.
We did our annual "White Elephant" gift exchange - where you can steal an unwrapped gift or choose a new one from the pile to open. Emma got a dolly ... and managed to hold on to it. Joel and I got chocolates ... and managed to keep them too :0)
We also had our "Explore Club" party on the 17th of December. We played games, decorated cookies, and watched part of the classic "Grinch".
Shortly after this photo was taken, just before parents were due to arrive ... it began to snow! Canada-type snowfall! (check post above this one for photos). Many parents were forced to abandon their vehicles at the bottom of Donnybrook Hill, and walk up to get their children and walk back with them. We had three families who ended up staying with us for most of the evening and almost overnight due to the road conditions!
