The weekend before Christmas, we still had snow on the ground, so we went out to build a snowman ... well, actually a snow pile since it wasn't wet enough to build a "Frosty".
Just after this photo, we decided to go for a little walk to check out what the main roads on our hill were like ...
And a long story short ... here is what we eventually witnessed ... a car on fire! Joel tried to prevent this from happening, but the fella driving this car wouldn't listen to his advice ...
And for the first time in my life ... I called "999" (0ur version here of "911"), and the fire brigade arrived, despite the road conditions, to put the fire out!
