BISSENDEN, Ronald Richard Passed away peacefully February 3, 2011. Born in Victoria November 5, 1923. Predeceased by his wives Peggy (Murray) and Margaret (Husband, Dillabaugh). He will be missed by his five children, Doug, Mary Hemsworth, Bruce (Diane), Joan Evans, Debra Capek (Glen), grandchildren Michelle, Adrian, Brent, Cameron, Graham, Rebecca, great granddaughter Mya and extended family members. Ron had a passion for all things mechanical. He enjoyed the challenge of fixing machine equipment no matter what, motorbikes, cars, boats, whatever. Motorbikes were a big part of his life whether it was precision riding, time trials, racing, hill climb or just for pleasure with the Victoria Motorcycle Club. Boating, fishing and traveling in the motor home were some enjoyments that he and Margaret shared along with numerous trips to Hawaii. Special thanks to all the staff at Oak Bay Lodge 3 Dogwood and 3 Maple. A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
