Before: Today was Emma's first day at "playschool"! She has been very excited about "going to school" all summer! Last night, she was so excited she didn't fall asleep until about 9.30pm or so. This morning she had to be woken up by Daddy and she was still excited :0)
We took her to playschool at 9.30am and she went in with a smile and gave me a kiss (after I asked for one) and walked in hand-in-hand with her teacher "Anette" ... not a backward glance at Mummy :0)
After: At 12.30pm, we walked over to pick her up ... and she came flying out the door with a HUGE smile and hug for Mummy and Daddy! While we walked home, she said she played in the garden, went on a slide, heard a story about a bear, played with a girl named "Aby" and thinks her teachers today "Anette" and "Suzanne" were nice. Oh, and yes she would like to go back tomorrow!
Before: In preparation for her "big girl" day at "playschool", we took her to get her hair trimmed. She was delighted to find that she got to sit in a pink car (that has bike pedals inside), wear a pink "bib", and watch "Peppa Pig" while the lady cut her hair.
After: Again ... nothing but smiles! The lady even gave her a pink balloon and an orange lolly to take home. Plus, she gave us a certificate saying "First Haircut" (which its really her second, but first in Ireland), and she put some of the hair she trimmed in a little bag for us to keep! My "little" girl is growing up!!!

What a day for our Emma! She is such a social person and we are sure she will just love her time at play school. Nice that you can walk there.
