I was talking with a friend from Canada last night, and we were commenting on how crazy fast our kids seem to grow up! Tonight could potentially be an example of that ... Emma has just thrown her "dummy" (aka "soother") into the "bin"! (aka "garbage"). We went for a drive out to Blarney Woolen Mills today and Mummy had an "idea". There was a display of dolls and Emma asked me if we could buy one ... so, I made a "deal" with her ... would she trade her dummy for a new dolly? She said "Yes!" ... we talked about it, Joel talked about it with her, and we tried as best we could to "confirm" with her the choice she was making ... guess we'll find out tonight!
A couple of nights ago, we went to a 50th Birthday Party! Emma had a fabulous time dancing with her cousins, Nathan and Abi! Abi is "5" and Nathan is "7" ... does Emma look "3" next to them? I didn't think so either ;0)
And Caitlin ... is 1 month old ... already!
