On Saturday, we had our final garage/moving sale. We were quite pleased to have sold almost everything. The items we didn't sell, we took to the Hart Swap Shed. We were quite popular there...quite a few people were lined up to 'greet' us! One fellow even "helped" Joel with his backpack...he took it right off Joel's back (almost literally)... Anyway, it was a good day and we now have less to pack (yay!). Thanks to all of you who came and visited, and to those who came and "shopped". It was actually pretty fun. It was kinda cool to have people ask where we were moving to, and then see their reactions when we answered "Ireland". It definately wasn't the answer they were expecting :) We are now waiting to see if our chair and Joel's stereo will sell over the next couple of days, and then its on to packing...packing...packing...(ugh). I have definately learned what items I will replace in Ireland and which ones I won't (ie. the ones I didn't even know I had until I went looking for things to put in the garage sale...I mean, how many salt and pepper shakers of varying types and sizes does a person really need?). Thankfully, I did check the pile of items with Joel as at least one item was there that didn't need to be...ladies, never let your husbands "price" and "put out" garage sale items without you!! Uh yeah..."Oops, sorry about that...I thought you wanted to sell that".... (nice try Joel!).
