On Sunday, we went to Mackenzie with some friends...Francis & Mark Lines (middle) and Steph & Kyle Miller (right) for one last "road trip". Steph and Kyle have moved there for work, and we went to see their place and help them move the couch and chair they bought at our "Moving Sale". Apparently our couch is a "fat" couch (no I don't mean..."phat") as it did not fit through their hallway nor their window (*Please note, some Mackenzie residents get quite "testy" when they see a guy, let's say for instance...Kyle, with a box cutter about to cut out the trim on a window...) Needless to say, the couch is in their back room instead of their living room...oops. Oh well, we still had fun in the bustling metropolis of Mackenzie. We ate at the Merabello Restaurant (sp?) and took some pictures at the lake (pictured above - totally can't remember the name of it...was that obvious?). We even saw a black bear cub on the trip up...my first bear sighting all summer! I love bears! (*from a moving vehicle of course...just to clarify). Unfortunately, some friends of ours who also live in Mackenzie (Bob, Tanya and their baby girl Jaida) were not home to visit as they are on vacation...sorry guys, but we promise it isn't our
last trip to Mackenzie! :(
