For Christmas I really wanted a puppy, as quite a few of you know ... Joel's parents got me a very cute "stuffed" puppy named "Skeater". Joel got me ... a Kenwood mixer. Not quite the puppy I was hoping for, but definately a great present we got to use right away while Mom & Pops were here ...
One of Joel's most favorite things (and I heartily agree) is Pops' very famous homemade bread. Pops was kind enough to keep us well-stocked with fresh bread over the holidays. He even "broke in" my new mixer for me while he and Joel's mom were staying with us after the "Shaundis" left.
Here I am trying to learn all of Pops' baking "secrets". Mmmm, I can almost remember the smell of homemade bread baking :)

What a treat!!!! Joel's dad shared some of his bread with us last month!!! So very yummy! Are those pictures taken at your new place? I'm assuming so cause it doesn't look like Carolyn's kitchen! You should post a few pictures of your home... would love to see it!!!
