Since arriving in Ireland, Joel and I have mostly be "settling in" and trying to get our home set-up. Our first year here is meant to be "orientation", which means we can help with ministries that are going on, but we cannot begin anything new or lead anything during this time. This provides us with a great opportunity to visit different ministries in and around Cork. We also have a fantastic chance to meet people and get to know them better.
We have been helping with the youth club for Douglas Baptist, and these are some pictures of a "Fear Factor" night that was held a few weeks ago (See, I'm starting to catch up - *grin).

"DA BEACH is DAT VAY" ... Joel kept impersonating the "Arnold" while participating in this part of "Fear Factor". The youth had to try to get a "flag" from behind Joel's back as one of the physical "challenges" ...
I "fear" his shirt will never, ever be the same :)
