A Bit of "Blarney"

Last week, we spent some time at "Blarney Castle" with Norm & Jeanna (pictured above), friends from College Heights Baptist in P.G. Norm & Jeanna are here in Ireland visiting family in Donegal. They came to the South to do some sightseeing with their daughter and granddaughter for a couple of weeks, and we were able to join them at the castle for a few hours.
It was lots of fun to tour the castle and grounds with them, and to catch up a bit on some of the "happenings" in P.G. I had never been to the castle before, but Joel has. He has even kissed the "Blarney Stone" on a previous visit there. Not me! I watched while Norm & Jeanna's granddaughter did though :)

Chris, you really should kiss the stone! It works! I kissed it, got the certificate, came home and within a couple of weeks was offered a job out of the blue as a caller at Crusade... the rest is history. I'm a believer!!!

Beautiful castle, all nestled in the lush trees, grass and foilage....that pic of you Christine in what looks like a cave, is similar to the Barkerville pic of last summer!
I so want to go to the B&B again! Wanna come?! :)
