Yesterday, our baby turned "2"! She started the day with opening a package that arrived from Amma and Granpa full of treats for all three of us :0) She is also rather attached to her summer hat they bought for her last year when we were in Canada, as you can see in the photo above. At some point in each day there is always a demand for "Hat!"
Here is the pressie she got from Mummy and Daddy ... we are also getting her a slide from us and Amma and Granpa, but they were sold out of the one we want until next week. Turned out to be a good thing though, because as you can see from the picture below, she had a fun-filled birthday party and received some amazing gifts to play with!
The party ... the birthday girl is there honest! She and her cousin Jonothan were just in the far corners and I didn't get them in this one.
A butterfly cake for the birthday girl! Notice her hair is wet? Uncle Bryce & Auntie Cary got her a water/sand table ... and she learned how to throw water at herself and her cousins Nathan and Abi! Somehow ... we didn't see that coming! :0)

Okay, totally shocked that Emma is 2 years old already! I'm glad she had such a wonderful birthday :o) I sure you're recovering from all the planning involved (as am I). Jaida just had her 4th birthday party last weekend, and I am happily unwinding (slowly) from all the activity. I must go and post some pictures on our blog site very soon :o) Happy Belated Birthday, Emma!
