Valentine's Day "in the making" ...

Emma made some Valentine's cards to give out to some of her favourtie people at church. I gave her 4 white cards to decorate. She had a fabulous time using her "colours" to decorate with. I gave her pink, purple, and red markers to use.

She loves to colour right now ... she calls it her "schoolwork". She can't wait to go to school! I've noticed that she makes a scribble like "writing" and then says "a, b, c" so, I think she figures she is actually writing on the cards :0)

Granma & Granpops sent Emma some stickers for Valentine's Day, so Emma put them on her cards, She even figured out how to get the stickers off by herself ... with only a few "broken hearts" (ha ha, pun intended!)

Here are her "masterpieces" ... one for Eoghan, Darragh, & Sean ... one for Abi, Nathan, & Jonothan ...one for "Uncle John" ... one for "Auntie Lydia".

Oh, Emma looks so sweet making her valentines. Jaida made butterfly cards this year with a sucker poked through to make the head. They were a hit with her pre-school friends, and she enjoyed putting stickers all over them with Grandma. She didn't have the stamina to decorate all 30 valentines, so mom and I finished the rest. We'll have to get Julian on board for next year :o)
