Last night, I set up a little "Valentine's Day" display for my valentines, Joel & Emma :0) Of course, there were some valentine's pressies included in that display as well ...
Emma's pressie was the red basket, the brown paper bag was for Joel from me, and the wrapped gift with the amazing decorating was from Emma for Daddy ... When she gave it to him to open, she cried out "Happy Birfday Daddy!". Then after she opened hers, she said "Oh thank you everyone!"
What was inside? Emma received red heart jellies, a Mickey Mouse DVD, a small book entitled "Love", and some "jewelry". Joel received some Doritos Chili Heatwave & Sweet Chili Peanuts from me, along with a card that had a coupon for some baking of his choice (this time the coupon came with an expiry date, because last year he pulled out some coupons I had made him when we lived in Canada ... hello? I'm pretty sure they don't remain valid for 4 YEARS!! Nice try babe!). Emma got Daddy some pjs or as Joel likes to call them "Leisure Suit Larry" pants :0) What about Mummy's pressie you may ask? Breakfast in bed this morning, and Daddy and Emma have gone "out" ... Hmmm ...

Thanks for posting pictures of your special "love" day with your family :o) We had a good day too. Jaida was THRILLED about exchanging valentines at pre-school today. She was literally vibrating with excitement! Then, she was delighted when we told her that Bridget's daughter was coming over to babysit for a while tonight. We NEVER get a babysitter, so this was a really special treat! Bob and I enjoyed some one-on-one time over dinner. It was so nice! We really must try to get out like that more often :o) I hope the rest of your day was wonderful! Love you :o)
