So, its been awhile since I last updated the blog ... sorry bout that but internet access is pretty "hit or miss" when you are on the road. Anyway, we have been having a fantastic time in Canada so far. Emma celebrated her 3rd birthday on the 29th of April. Before that, over the Easter weekend, she had a joint birthday party with her cousin Maarti (pictured above).
It was a fabulous day! We had a picnic Easter lunch, tractor rides (and yes that is Emma "driving" Uncle Doug's tractor), an Easter egg hunt, and of course birthday pressies, and cupcakes!! What will her expectations be of me next year!? :0)
On the 29th of April (her "real" birthday), we were in Three Hills, AB. Our friend Ranae put on an amazing birthday party for her ... decoarations, a "Dora the Explorer" pinata, birthday pressies, and yummy cupcakes! Again, what will I do next year ... this year she had 3 parties: one with her Irish cousins before we left for Canada, one with her cousin Maarti at Easter, and then one with her buddy Milo, and new friends Cecily and Riley on her "real birthday". There will NOT be 4 parties next year!! :0)
After all the party excitement, Emma and Milo chilled out and watched her new Dora movie :0)

If you are ever in the Vancouver area let us know at Pilgrim Baptist Church. I just came on staff, but 10 years ago we lived in Belfast for a couple of years.
