Canada!

So here we are ... in Canada! We just came back from Nanaimo, BC. We had a great time at Departure Bay Baptist on Sunday. Emma had an absolute ball there! She went to the children's program and then made new friends as she learned how to jump off the stairs at the front of the church :0) She also enjoyed being chased around the church by new friends! We are now back in Sidney, BC with my parents, and we head to Grandma & Pawpops' in Enderby, BC on Wednesday.

Emma is loving her Amma & Granpa! She loves to have Granpa read her stories! She also checks the post with him in the mornings. Today, Amma & Granpa took her to the sweets shop, and she came back with a bag full! Oh boys ...

On the 31st of March we celebrated with Granpa for his "65th Birthday"! We had balloons, ice cream cake, Chinese food ... and eventually even bubbles! "Happy Birfday Party Granpa!"

When we first arrived in Canada, Uncle Mike picked us up from the airport and we stayed with Uncle Mike & Auntie Belinda, Jason, Laura, Stephanie, and Stephen for a few days while recovering from jet lag. Emma was a big fan of Uncle Mike! The first morning, she asked me "Where's Uncle Mike?" ... I told her that he was at work ... she asked "In his office?" ... and I said yes ... so, she went to the closet door, opened it and asked "In here?" ... Oh, and Uncle Mike would like you to know that she prefers to hold his hand, calls every white truck she sees "Uncle Mike's big, big truck" and must know where he is at all times! :0)
