2013: The Missing Months ...

So ... for the first time in a LONG time, I have been able to get back into my blog account.  I know it has been just over a year since my last post ... but, I have had some major technical difficulties with trying to get back into my account.  Tonight, I was able to get back in ... I think!  We'll see when I go to post this!!  I would like to try to catch up on the missing months of 2013 with some quick posts, and then try to update a bit more regularly again throughout 2014.  Having said that ... no promises!!  If I have learned anything over the past year, it's that ministry life with two small children is busy, and maintaining this blog can become a huge stress on me.  So, if you are happy to check in every once in a while, I am happy to try to have updates for you to see.  Just don't check daily! ;-)

Let's begin with March, 2013 and see if I can find pictures to post here (and remember something about them) to write ...

March, 2013

On the first Sunday of each month, we do our Explore Club at church instead of the regular "Sunday School" program.

This is Emma with her good friend Alexah.  Alexah went to play school with Emma, and her family sometimes attends Douglas Baptist.  Emma is the "tallest" in her playschool class, whilst Alexah is one of the "smallest".  They make quite the pair :-)

Ah yes, I believe I was "spring cleaning" my kitchen cupboard and was surprised when the doors opened and some "helpers" crawled in!

Yikes, it's crazy to see how much my girls have grown in a year since this photo was taken (you'll have to keep checking the blog to see what I mean)

Our Explore Club has moved from being in our house to being in a hall on the school grounds of the Church of Ireland in Douglas (Emma presently attends this school now).  This room is where we do our opening & closing sessions, and crafts/snack.

Here is what the outside looks like.

It is fantastic to now have a hall (aka "gym") to play games in.

A cute pink bunny arrived Easter morning.

Yup, a Hello Kitty egg was found.

Baby bunny also got an egg.

The girls in their bunny ears ... one looking slightly more excited than the other :-)

Reading her "That's not my Bunny!" book.
