The Missing Months: September & October & November, 2013

September
One of the best ways to start back into September, is by going to our friend Clare's house & beach for the Church Picnic!
 Digging in the sand.
Some crazy people even go in for a swim!
The smart ones watch the crazy ones from the safety of the beach!
 Building sand castles.
I found a "potty training seat" with Minnie Mouse on it at Aldi.  I brought it home with no intention to start potty training yet, but just being prepared for when the day(s) came ...
I found Caitlin "trying it out" in the front room.
 How cute is she??
September was also the start to Youth Club again.
Cheeky elders from the church.  The one on the left was our CW Douglas teammate Lee.  The one on the right is Brendan, our new teammate for Passage West (well, since this post is for 2013 that bit of info is may actually be a bit of "foreshadowing" - ha ha)
October
Happy Canadian Thanksgiving!  The last celebration in our lovely rented house.  I think by this time we had already found or were close to finding our new house to buy in Passage West.

Then it was time for "Happy Hallowe'en!"
Emma all dressed up and ready for trick or treating.
The "hat" was her idea I'm sure!
The "trick or treaters".  Often we are at camp for Hallowe'en, so this was a rare "treat" for Emma to
be able to go trick or treating in our estate with Daddy.
November
Caitlin turns "2"!!
Caitlin was obsessed with Curious George at this stage.  So, this was her "Cheeky Monkey Girl" birthday theme! ;-)
A bit hastily put together I confess! ;-(
All dressed up for the party.
Also, all dressed up for the party.
 Feeding the party monkeys!
Another picture to prove I was really there!
Caitlin quite liked her monkey decoration.  I'm pretty sure it didn't survive very long though.  Sometimes, too much love can hurt an air-filled monkey, I guess!
 Opening presents.
 And reading cards.
 Look at that cute girl!
Loving her bear from Teddy Mountain that Emma made her.
And opening up her first Playmobil set from Mummy & Daddy ... a zoo!
Not a lot of interest in the cake.  As I mentioned earlier ... this was kind of hastily put together.  But, the cake does go with the theme if you look close ... and that's all I'm going to say about that ;-)
Our friend Ruth and Emma.  Her hubby John has the same birthday as Caitlin.  Well, technically he had that day as his "birthday" first I suppose! (Oops, foreshadowing again, they aren't married in this photo ... yet!)
Now there is interest in the cake!
Hm ... was the interest in the cake or the plate?
There they are ... the "Birthday Buddies" :-)
We are still running our "Explore Club" children's program on Sunday afternoons from 4-6pm.
Anne & Andrew lead the club with us (*Foreshadowing again ... they are now married too!)
One of Emma's favourite things about Explore Club, is that her cousin Abi is there too.  Oh, and this was her first year being able to go to Explore Club, since she was in Jr. Infants now!
