For the first week of June, we were on holidays! We went to
Youghal (about 1/2 hour away) and we stayed in a self-catering apartment right by the beach. Emma loved the beach! Our first few days were pretty cloudy, but she was happy to pick up shells and look at the water. The first day, she had a healthy "fear" of the waves ...
On Wednesday, the sun came out and was blazing! We went down to the beach, and Emma got her feet wet with Mummy!
By the next day, she was IN the water and LOVING the waves!
Yup, she is going to be a "water baby" just like her mummy :0)

yuppers . . just like Mummy!! It was a bit of a 'road' getting you there, Christine. I still have a visual of you standing at the edge of the high diving board during swimming lessons and not willing to do it. Mom (myself) sitting on the bleachers sweating in the humidity, saying to myself . . . "jump and let's get it over with"!!! You did the next lesson!!! But in your own time.
